Boris Bacanurschi, DMD.

Dr. Boris Bacanurschi was born in Moldova, Eastern Europe, and completed four years out of a five year program with honors at the Odessa Medical University, Dental School in Odessa, Ukraine. In 1999, he and his parents immigrated to Toronto, Canada. He took two additional undergraduate years at the University of Toronto Life Sciences Program. He moved to the Boston area with his wife and two children and started the DMD program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2002. While at Tufts, Dr. Bacanurschi was elected as an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon-National Dental Honor Society, participated in Tufts Elective Honors Programs in Esthetic and Implant Dentistry and was selected as a teaching assistant in both pre-clinical and clinical dental disciplines.

Dr. Bacanurschi is a Magna Cum Laude 2006 Graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the National Dental Honor Society and Chairman of the North Metropolitan Dental District. He currently teaches part-time as a Clinical Assistant Professor for the Department of Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He holds active memberships in OKU; ADA; MDS; North-Metropolitan, Middlesex Dental Districts; ADEA. Dr. Bacanurschi was elected into a Fellowship of International College of Dentists in 2012. He is also a 2012 graduate of Engel Institute of Dental Implant Training. Boris graduated from Tufts Tisch Faculty Fellowship program in 2016. He volunteers on St Boniface, St Rock's and GSL dental mission trips to Haiti and Dominican Republic.

Dr. Bacanurschi broadens and perfects his dental professional knowledge and skills by actively teaching and conducting research at Tufts Dental and constantly taking continuing education courses in Esthetics, Occlusion, Periodontology, Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Bacanurschi loves to spend his free time on the tennis courts, biking, skiing, and traveling.

John J. Meade, DMD.

Dr. Meade was born and raised in Medford and practiced Family and Cosmetic Dentistry at Woburn St. Dental Office for over 50 years.

He retired from teaching as a Clinical Associate Professor at Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine for over 20 years. Dr. Meade’s dad was Tufts University Dental School graduate of 1911 and practiced dentistry in Medford as well.

Dr. Bacanurschi was trained and mentored by Dr. Meade as a Dental Student at Tufts and joined his Dental Practice in 2005.

Dr. Meade retired from practice in March 2018 after over 60 years of practicing dentistry in Medford. He continued to volunteer dental services to underserved population in Haiti throughout his career.

Dr Jake Park, DDS.

Meet Dr. Jake Park, DDS - our board certified periodontist!

Dr. Jake graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from The University of Texas in Austin in 2006, Doctor of Dental Surgery from Columbia University in New York City in 2011, and completed his specialty training in Periodontics at Tufts University. During his residency, he conducted a research studies regarding soft tissue grafting around dental implants.

Dr. Park specializes in Dental Implants, Gum surgeries and Grafting procedures. In his spare time, Dr. Park enjoys spending time with his wife and his twin daughters.

Dr Brian Ganley, DMD.

Dr. Brian Ganley was born and raised in Massachusetts. He spent most of his childhood in Westford, MA, although he lived in Illinois and Saudi Arabia as well.

He attended the College of the Holy Cross for his undergraduate education in Worcester, MA and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2013. After working for one year in the dental field, Dr. Ganley started at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. For the next four years, he obtained superb clinical training from the outstanding group of instructors at Tufts University, including Dr. Boris Bacanurschi.

Dr. Brian Ganley graduated in May 2018 and practices general dentistry. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing basketball and tennis, and reading.
